In a match between Egypt and Malawi currently held at the Pingao International Stadium in the fourth qualifying round for the Ivory Coast 2024 African Cup, 75 minutes have passed with Egypt leading with four clean goals.

The start of the game was fast and attack-oriented from both sides, and the hosts tried to threaten the Pharaohs’ goal in the first minutes before Mohamed Salah created a goal for Tarek Hamed in the 4th minute, who struck a rocket ball into the net.

In the 15th minute, Amr Marei scored the second goal for the Pharaohs from following the ball in the penalty area, which collided with Marei and landed in the net. Then Mohamed Salah adds the third goal in the 20th minute. In the 44th minute, Mohamed El-Shenawy saved a certain goal from a Malawi striker after a strong header towards his goal, but the international goalkeeper managed to catch the ball and come out of the first half with a clean sheet.

The first half of the match ended with the Pharaohs leading three clean goals scored by Tarek Hamed, Amr Marei, and Mohamed Salah in the 4th, 15th, and 20th minutes of the game.

In the second half, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, a player in the Egypt national team, scored the fourth goal for the Pharaohs in the Malawi net in the 49th minute from a pass he received from Mohamed Hani to convert it into a goal.

The Egypt team started the match with a formation that included Mohamed El-Shenawy in goalkeeping, Mohamed Hani, Ahmed Hegazi, Mohamed Abdel Monem, and Mohamed Hamdi in defense, Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Hamada, and Zizo in midfield, and Mohamed Salah, Amr Marei, and Mostafa Mohamed upfront.

Heavy rains fell on the Pingao International Stadium before the Egypt and Malawi national teams played, and the match witnessed a large attendance from the home fans while a number of the Egyptian community there were keen to support the national team.

Guinea national team tops the group after surpassing Egypt in points, as Guinea defeated Ethiopia on Monday, lifting its balance to 9 points, while Egypt ranks 2nd in the group with 6 points. Malawi and Ethiopia teams obtained 3 points each.
