Both Pyramids FC and Royal Army Club of Morocco have lodged a complaint with the Confederation of African Football “CAF” against Future, their rival in the same group in the Confederation Cup.

Future had previously filed a complaint with “CAF” because of the participation of a suspended player with ASKO Kara Togolese team in the first round match of the group stage with the two teams in the Confederation Cup, which ended in a draw (1-1).

Based on Future’s complaint, “CAF” recently declared Future a winner of the match, turning the situation in the group around, and raising the team to the top with 10 points, equal with the Royal Army Club, while Pyramids FC is in third place with 8 points.

A source in “CAF” said to Lelakora that both Pyramids FC and Royal Army Club have lodged a complaint against Future, alleging reliance on an unregistered player named Ahmed Refaat, in the last two matches of the group stage against the Royal Army Club and ASKO Kara.

It is mentioned in the complaint that Future registered Ahmed Refaat in the first list and participated in the preliminary rounds, before the player went on loan to the Emirates Unity Club and then returned to the team again.

According to the complaint, Refaat was supposed to be registered again in a new place in the African list, but Future did not do so and only registered him in the first list.

The two clubs have requested the exclusion of Future from the championship.

The source pointed out the difficulty of making a decision before Sunday, which is witnessing a decisive match between Future and Pyramids FC in the final round of the group stage.

At the end of his statement, the source mentioned that Future’s situation has become difficult, and that the final decision will be issued before the quarter-final matches.
