Amr El-Halawani, former star of Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the Egyptian team has a distinct shape with the Portuguese Roy Vitoria. He said this on the “Sports Studio” program on “Al-Yawm Al-Sabea” TV, presented by the media personality Walid Maher.

El-Halawani said that today’s victory over Malawi with a clean score of four is natural due to the clear difference in level between the two teams and the notable improvement in the Pharaohs’ performance with a fast-paced and well-spread game, especially in the first half. El-Halawani added that Vitoria is a great coach and will change the shape and performance of the Egyptian team for the better in the coming period.

On his part, the Portuguese Roy Vitoria, the coach of the first Egyptian national team, said that the team presented a wonderful game against Malawi today in the fourth round of the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations “Cote d’Ivoire 2024”, stressing that the team played correctly and succeeded in exploiting the attacks that it had in the game and translated them into goals.

Vitoria continued in the press conference after the match, “I wish Malawi better luck in the next stage,” stressing that the Egyptian team was the best in both the first and second legs and deserves to collect the six points after the great effort exerted by all the players.
